Senior
leadership
The in-house team knows the business inside out. An agency brings its specialty. A freelancer steps in on a project. The founder holds the big picture. What’s missing isn’t another skill set, but someone senior enough to set priorities, make budget calls, help the team grow and make sure strategy doesn’t get diluted in day-to-day execution.
This is the role VNPartners can take on over the long term, particularly for five-star hotels, luxury hotel groups and companies with a strong identity. The role is deliberately cross-functional: marketing and communications strategy, action plan, budgets, team coordination, selecting and managing partners, overseeing content and projects, mentoring junior staff, and keeping track of quality, deadlines and performance.

An embedded
function, without
adding headcount
This model makes the most sense when the company has outgrown its marketing function; when a founder wants to step back without losing control of decisions; when a team needs more senior guidance; or when a repositioning calls for real continuity between thinking and doing.
A fractional CMO doesn’t replace the existing team. It gives them a shared direction and the conditions to work better together.
